Privacy Policy
Impostor Party® Games plugin for ChatGPT · Last updated: 15 October 2026
This policy covers the Impostor Party® Games plugin for ChatGPT and the pages served from this site. It does not cover ChatGPT itself, which is governed by OpenAI's privacy policy, or the Impostor Party® Games mobile apps.
What the plugin receives
- Game settings you or ChatGPT choose: language, number of players and impostors, category and, if you provide them, player names.
- These are used only to deal a round. We do not store them, and we do not receive your ChatGPT conversation, account details or contact information.
Usage analytics
- We record anonymous usage events (for example "game started", "game finished", "store link clicked") with the language, category and player count, to understand how the plugin is used.
- Events carry a random identifier that only lives for one widget session. We do not use cookies, do not build user profiles and do not record names, words or personal data in analytics.
- Events are processed by PostHog, our analytics provider, in the European Union.
Shared result links
If you tap "Share the result", the result of that game (secret word, clue, impostor names, category) is encoded in the link itself. We do not store it; anyone you send the link to can see what it contains.
Store links
Download buttons pass through this site so we can count clicks, then take you to the App Store or Google Play, whose own privacy policies apply from that point.
Children
The plugin is a general-audience party game and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone.
